Slide EXPLORE & RELAX Ecuadorian Coast Ecuador’s Pacific coastline combines beautiful beaches with national parks teaming with wildlife and interesting ruins that give an insight into past cultures. This Pacific seaboard rolls down from the foothills of the Western Cordillera of the Andes to the shores of the Pacific Ocean. From north to south, the coast of Ecuador is dotted with wide, sandy beaches, some pristine like Los Frailes, others with fishermen villages, modern cities, and the occasional archaeological site. It’s a region where life is played out at a different rhythm and seems a long way culturally from the high Andes.

The Ecuadorian Coast is a beautiful composition of green mangrove forests, a magic jungle, clear waters, stunning white sandy shores and many small fishing villages. The region offers plenty of amazing activities from a relaxed option lounging at one of the numerous beaches along the Ecuadorian Pacific Coastline, to more active options such as surfing, paragliding, snorkeling, sailing, or hiking along the coast. Beautiful natural reserves and national parks offer unspoiled experiences like watching the rituals of the humpback whales during mating season between July and August.
